Basic Principles
Within Adobe Photoshop paths can be created, SpriroMaker lets you create as Path/Selection or Layer Spirographs (mathematical name is trochoids)
SpiroMaker is designed as a selection plug-in, a simple and straight interface lets you add wherever you wish anykind of spirographs you may imagine.

Take any image, launch SpiroMaker, adjust the base and turn circle the way you wish and place it in the large preview. When done the new spirograph will be collected as a path, a layer or a selection. Photoshop will let you stroke the path or add a style to the new layer for stunning effects.
