Adding to its line of filter plug-ins for Adobe Photoshop® , Corel PhotoPaint® ,Human Software is now shipping PhotoWeave™ version 1.6.

PhotoWeave™ comes as a filter plug-in compatible with applications supporting Adobe Photoshop® 7.0 and above - including CS - plug-in kind such as Adobe Element® , Corel PhotoPaint® or Jasc Paint.

Basic Principles
PhotoWeave™ is a very powerful plug-in to let you design striped fabrics or many kind of pattern effects to your images.

- Create Warp and Weft description with up to 16 yarn's color, or have a vignette(color ramp)
- Use all the Photoshop color selection tools available including Pantone
- Set Warp and Weft pattern in a numeric way including nesting of parenthesis
- Ability to angle independently warp or weft
- Repeat the pattern independently in the x and y directions
- Choose different yarn thickness (fringe option) for warp or weft for realistic rendering
- Ability to layer the fabrics and pass them thru stencils to simulate jacquard
- Weave editor grid customisable in x or y direction. Weave creation including copy/extend, weave in a selection, edit as you simulate the pattern, flip/rotate. import. Preview the weave you load and test a new instantly on a fabric. Save and add your own to the library.
- PhotoWeave™ is a filter plug-in. The fabric simulation is added to the current image. It means you can simulate weaving onto any kind of images.

PhotoWeave™ lets you create or import weave of up to 72x72 size for infinite combinations.PhotoWeave™ is shipping with more than 130 fabric simulation and 120 weaves.

Thanks to the powerful and fully editable layering mecanism, actions may be added to combine layers of fabrics. PhotoWeave™ works with a layer principle so you can mix multiple fabric or patterns in a single image. All this is happening inside Photoshop or any application compliant with Photoshop plug-in specifications.

An Easy-to-use User Interface
PhotoWeave™ offers an advanced interface with a large preview. You can easily create a new weave, a new pattern, a new fabric or just use pieces to test new combinations, it is fast, incredibly powerful and easy. All new designs can be added to the library. All creations stay live until the end so changing one’s mind is encouraged. PhotoWeave™ really feels like a full stand-alone graphic application but is conveniently available as a plug-in.
PhotoWeave™ 1.6 interface supports Photoshop 7+ filter plug-in standard and is therefore compatible with numerous other applications. Very straightforward buttons guide users, even beginners, in applying complex fabrics in a few clicks.

PhotoWeave™ at work
PhotoWeave™ comes with a library of more than 130 fabrics and 120 weaves. Users choose among PhotoWeave™ fabrics either by browsing up or down the thumbnail previews list, which is organized under several categories (i.e. shape, border, pattern, edges...) or by selecting an effect from the full alphabetical list.

In truth, these effects are nearly impossible to achieve with any other plug-in on the market or standard action manipulations.
These weaves, patterns or striped fabrics may be combined together on the same layer or added independently to each layer.

PhotoWeave™ is also an ideal tool for all Designers
PhotoWeave™ has been designed with the textile industry in mind. But many features have been added that make it perfect for all graphic designers. Among those effects is the ability to create vignettes and combine them along angled warp and weft thread. Used from within an image editing application such as Adobe Photoshop®, the newly created image can easily be uploaded to an internet-compatible JPEG or GIF. PhotoWeave™ ready-to-apply fabrics will give all web pages or pages a distinctive and attractive look.
